What am I doing to keep you safe during your makeup appointment?
Before the pandemic, I was always sanitising and cleaning by brushes and my kit. Now I still do the same, but there are a few extra practices in place. I have listed below everything that happens before, during and after your makeup appointment to keep you safe. No need to worry when you're in ALX Make-Up's care!
🧼Soap and brush egg to clean brushes at the end of each day
👩🏼🎨Different brush sets for each person
🖌Isoclean brush cleaner to spot clean and to spray and disinfect powders
⚡️Flash wipes to clean the outside packaging of products, brush handles
🌟Dettol spray for touch points
💁🏼♀️Hand sanitizer
💧Towels washed after each client
🪣Disposables : mascara/lip wands, cotton buds, cotton pads and sponges
🎨Products decanted onto a palette so no cross contamination
😷PPE : face mask, visor and sexy PVC apron
🏡An open window in the studio for ventilation
⏰No waiting room but if you are coming for a bridal trial, one other person may come with you. They must wear their mask, unless having makeup applied or exempt
🦠I will also ensure no one has any CV19 symptoms
💌There will be a form to complete asking for your details and about allergies, skin conditions or concerns at the beginning of your appointment
☕️Finally, as much as this one pains me, I can’t offer you a tea, coffee, water or prosecco but I am happy for you to bring your own in a disposable cup. I really recommend the cafes in Moira...there are a lot to choose from
💕I am fully insured and professionally trained as a make-up artist.
You will be in safe, clean hands at ALX Make-Up! Are you coming to visit? 💄
